Damo Entertainment was created four years ago by CEO, David Morris, who took the name that his daughters had given him by taking the first two initials of his first and last name putting them together and making it the name of his entertainment company. The purpose of the company is to provide promotional opportunities to create more exposure for our up and coming artists around the world. 

Realizing that The Underground Artist not getting the exposure and attention that is due to them, he first started off Djing at different clubs, parties, fashion shows, and community centers, to increase the listeners of the underground music.. As an extra he would video tape the artist and post their music on you tube.

He later started his own radio show collecting music and gaining fans from all around the world. Interviewing artist from all around the world his radio show listeners increased in numbers in weeks because of the major support of the fans, artists, managers, producers, poets, DJ’s, and other supportive teams. 

With all this being said, he decided to create a compilation cd of artists from all around the world. Investing his own money and time into this album he also became #1 on music website www.reverbnation.com/DamoEntertainment as the number one album in the Saint Louis Area. He released the album in September of 2010 and the sales have been outstanding. With some of the proceed of the album he decided to donate some of the proceeds to the homeless, giving back to the community. The story was covered by Rodney M Norman, a publicists for examiner.com, and was posted on several other websites.

He was also nominated for Radio Host of The Year, Promoter of the Year, DJ of the Year, and the Album was Nominated for Album of the Year, all at the Jackson Music Awards in Tennessee, A Tribute to Jazz Blues Singer Denise La Salle. He walked away with the Album of the Year which he thought was the most important out of all four nominations because of the time and hard work he put into the album.

He title the album because of his life struggles that he has been through. Going through the ups and downs of this music industry. The Album is titled “The Struggle 2 Succeed = Success” by Damo Entertainment and he made the Album available to the world by posting it on itunes, napster, amazon.com,, myspace, and other music websites.
